Hi, I'm Nina Ramos, LMSW Associate, a licensed master social worker, associate therapist and early childhood advocate.
I settled in the Wimberley and San Marcos area 27 years ago after spending my childhood as an 'army brat'. Moving frequently taught me to navigate feelings of 'being different' or 'not belonging', which sparked my interest in exploring these feelings in others. If you are feeling out of place or not quite yourself, I hope to guide and support you through your journey of self-exploration and healing. Since 2007, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in both medical and non-profit settings. Building genuine relationships and connecting with clients holistically has been key to my therapeutic success. This connection is the cornerstone of my approach to therapy.

My Therapeutic Approaches
My approach is trauma-informed and compassion-focused, using interactive feedback to tailor sessions to your experience. I am currently training in Level 3 TEAM-CBT with the Feeling Good Institute and continuing my education in perinatal mental health. As an LGBTQIA+ Ally, I work through the lens of cultural sensitivity and Feminist Theory.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming the San Marcos river with my dog, and eating soup on patios all over town.
