Clinical Supervision

What is Clinical Supervision?

To practice clinical social work in the State of Texas, you must hold a masters degree in social work from an accredited university, and be licensed in the State of Texas. The applicant completes a minimum of 100 hours of face-to-face supervision, over the course of 3000 hours of professional experience, with a board-approved supervisor.

What can you expect from me?

The relationship between supervisee and supervisor is unique one built on trust and mutual understanding. I am a psychodynamic therapist who is engaging, encouraging and uses a strengths-based approach to supervision. My hope is to provide you with a supportive, safe space where you can develop clinical skills and find answers to your challenging cases. I bring my extensive experience and training to the supervision room: 
​
  • cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, trauma-informed, motivational therapy and the 12-Step transformational model with individuals experiencing substance use issues with co-occurring disorders.
  • grief and bereavement hospice experience with children and adults.
  • administrative and ethical experience from the perspective of working for a variety of non-profit agencies and integrated health clinics. 
  • teaching and mentoring undergraduate students at the school of social work at Texas State University.

Fee For Service

Individual supervision
50 minutes meets weekly - $105



​Group supervision
2 hour, meets bi-weekly - $80
