Therapist (She/Her/Hers) currently practicing under the supervision of Michele Frances Purvin, LCSW-S, LCDC.
Welcome! You are in the right place. I am accepting new clients via telehealth therapy for weekend and evening appointments.

My goal is to provide you a safe and nonjudgemental space to explore your thoughts, emotions and patterns with honesty and curiosity. Together, we will work to increase insight, build coping skills, and reframe challenges in ways that feel more manageable and empowering. My role is to help hold the heavy emotions you carry, as we foster a healing experience in an environment grounded in trust, empathy, and respect.
My Story
As a Cuban-American woman, I have experienced Texas’ diverse cultures that have shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and the complexity of the human experience. My early academic and professional journey led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from St. Edward’s University, where I developed a strong foundation in social justice, cultural humility, and systems-based thinking. These experiences solidified my commitment to serving individuals with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique stories alongside the broader societal lens.
I went on to earn my Master of Social Work from Baylor University in 2025, where my clinical training deepened my interest in mental health treatment across varied populations. Through my internships and professional experiences in behavioral hospitals and residential mental health settings, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adults, individuals involved in the justice system, and individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. Many of the clients I have worked with have presented with complex diagnoses, including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring substance use and trauma histories. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the importance of meeting clients where they are and approaching care through a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective.

I have training and experience working with trauma, grief and loss, mood disorders, anxiety, and individuals impacted by severe and persistent mental illness. My clinical approach integrates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, strengths-based therapy, and psychodynamic-informed techniques. I pull from Dr. Bruce D Perry’s, Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) to assess the root of behaviors and patterns.
